Striding forward. The Singapore General Hospital has demonstrated a tenacious spirit, facing health-care challenges head-on for the past 185 years, from growing the hospital campus to implementing information technology.

ThermoSENSOR – a disc that allows doctors and nurses to monitor the temperature and location of patients any time and anywhere on a  personal digital assistant, a tablet PC or any of the hospital’s computers, hence reducing paperwork and the need for labor-intensive records.

SmartTAG – a radio frequency identification system which enables doctors and nurses to record and trace the people with whom they come into contact with at the hospital.
