CADI SmartSenseTM solution was showcased in Hospital Management Asia (HMA) 2006 under a
project by Singapore General Hospital, SingHealth "Tag & Track: Wireless Makes a
Difference" and another project by Tan Tock Seng Hospital, National Healthcare Group
"TTSH Online Patient Dashboard System with Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID)
Technology". Tan Tock Seng Hospital, National Healthcare Group project was the winner
for the 'Technical Service Improvement Project' category.

TTSH Online Patient Dashboard System with Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID)
Technology project:
The objectives of this project are to better manage utilization of limited bed resources and provide real time status of ward capacity to the Emergency Department, Bed Management Unit and Wards, to reduce the time taken to locate an average of 4 patients per day who are not in bed / out of the ward and to improve on Care Coordination ratings as part of the Patient Satisfaction Survey by 5%.
During the deployment, patients each wore a small disc-like device, ThermoSENSOR, with the aid of a wrist band around their wrist. This enables continuous location tracking by CADI's system which help to smoothen out the workflow in the hospital.
This project won an award in Hospital Management Asia 2006. The news was aired on Channel U, MediaCorp, Singapore on Wednesday, August 30, 2006.

HMA 2006 is being supported and participated by Ministry of Health, Singapore and
Singapore Tourism Board. The conference has Johns Hopkins Medicine International and

About Technical Service Improvement Project:
A project successfully completed in 2005/06 in any of the specialized (technical) areas
of hospital management such as Nursing, Laboratory, Radiology, etc. showing measurable
results of having improved the service in such areas as reduction in medication errors,
reduced waiting times, prevention of service defects, or faster results.
