Singapore General Hospital awarded contract to CADI as the official system integrator for the RFP no. MMD/RFP/0645/G05 Bed Management System

With joint collaboration efforts between CADI Scientific and their USA partners, Premise, CADI has been short-listed and selected as the official local system integrator for Singapore General Hospital (SGH) hospital wide deployment of the RFP number MMD/RFP/0645/G05 Bed Management System (BMS) project.

By integrating CADI's active RFID and Premise's BMS solutions, this project encompasses a wholesome deployment of the state of the art BMS solutions that will improve the efficiency of bed management and enhance the coordination amongst the various departments.

With the deployment of the new BMS solution, SGH will have a central source of accurate, real-time information on bed status. This will improve patient care through faster bed assignment and admission process, improve operational efficiency through the reduction in telephone communication between ward, bed management unit, portering and housekeeping and also enable the establishment of KPI to facilitate decision-making. By incorporating the use of active RFID technology, this further aids to streamline the workflow at the wards by automating the update of bed state during the admission, transfer and discharge process of patients. This integrated solution also serves to improve the visibility of bed information at all times and thus allow SGH to response quickly to bed management related problems during unexpected events such as mass casualty and pandemic disease outbreak.
