General Description
 |
Once configured into proximity contact
tracing mode, STG-500 SmartTAG-500™ will periodically
transmit its ID and at the same time wirelessly and
automatically capture and store IDs of tags that come in
close proximity using its active RFID radio. The
duration of the contact event is also stored. The
detection range between tags is about 2 meters (standard
configuration) and each tag is able to store up to 1000
contact records.
The contact records may be retrieved via the tag’s
RS-232 communication port with the use of a serial data
cable. The serial data cable is separately available.
