CADI BP880 uses the oscillometric method to measure blood pressure. This method will detect the blood movements through your artery found in your wrist.  It will then analyze and convert the blood movements into a digital reading.

A stethoscope is not required in oscillometric method and so taking measurements with CADI BP880 is much easier and convenient.  As the arteries in the arm are connected to those in the wrist, the arm blood pressure reading has a direct relationship with the wrist reading.  Clinical research has proven such direct relationship.
